directree's core is free forever – submitting, claiming, editing, voting, comparing, and the domain-verified status all cost nothing. Directree Plus is a one-time purchase ($49) – pay once and keep Plus permanently, no subscription. It is optional upside for founders who want more visibility infrastructure around their listing.

New listings enter a free review queue of about 2–3 weeks before founder edits and the do-follow link go live. Plus skips that queue instantly for your first listing and includes Fast Lane credits for the next ones. If you only want the skip for a single listing, Fast Lane is available separately for $19, one-time, per listing.

What Plus includes

• Relaunch (once per quarter) – push your listing back onto the New feed for a fresh shot at attention. Relaunched listings are labelled as relaunched, and the button lives in your dashboard. Relaunch buys exposure, not votes – upvotes still decide ranking.
• Skip-embed – keep the do-follow backlink without placing the badge on your site. Bundled deliberately: it's a plan perk, never a standalone "buy a backlink" product.
• Gold frame – an optional, purely cosmetic frame on your listing card. It's a toggle, it's opt-in, and it's visually distinct from the Verified status (which is earned, never sold).
• Verified listing history – directree keeps a verified, timestamped record of how your listing changes from the day Plus starts. The profile includes a QR code to your live directree listing and a verification footer. Useful for investor decks, partner conversations, and outreach.
• Listing health checks – about once a week, directree compares your live site to your listing facts and emails you only when something material changed: pricing, integrations, broken key links, or a clear conflict between what your site says and what your listing says. Silence means nothing needs attention. You can opt out per listing from the Account page. Nothing changes on your listing without your approval.
• Relaunch kit – when you use your quarterly relaunch, directree takes the verified changes recorded since your last relaunch and turns them into ready-to-edit announcement drafts: a "what changed" summary, a LinkedIn post, an X post, and a customer email. Everything is a draft you review. Nothing auto-posts anywhere. If there are no recorded changes, the kit notes that clearly instead of inventing copy.

How the history and health features work

These features share a common foundation. When Plus starts, directree records a baseline snapshot of your published, verified listing facts. From that point forward:

• Founder edits you make through the listing editor are recorded as verified changes with a before/after and timestamp.
• Observed changes surface through the health check: directree compares your live site to your listing facts and, if a material change is found and you approve it, the approved update becomes part of the verified history.
• Relaunch kits are built from that verified history – only confirmed changes, never invented ones.

None of these features touch AI-inferred fields. The profile and history use only founder-edited or observed facts from the snapshot whitelist.

What money can never buy

This list is the product's spine, so it's worth stating plainly. No payment – Plus or otherwise – ever changes:

• The honesty labels or any fact on any listing.
• Ranking on the Top feed (upvotes only).
• The outcome of the AI match or any comparison.
• The Verified status – that's earned through domain verification, free, for everyone.
• Community standing, badges, or the Showcase draw.

If a directory sells its trust signals, they stop being trust signals. Plus is designed so that paying founders get a bigger stage and practical tools for keeping their listing current, while the facts stay identical for everyone.
