Most software directories will list anything with a domain name. We wanted directree to be different: a place where "verified" means a real person proved they own the product, stood behind the facts on their listing, and put their name on it.
Ten founders have now done exactly that.
They come from six countries and cover a surprising spread: EU AI Act compliance out of Dublin, HOA management out of New York, stock screening out of Braunschweig, an open-source agent workspace out of San Francisco. Nobody planned that mix. It is just what happens when you let builders show up on their own terms instead of curating for a trend.
What they have in common is more interesting than what separates them. Almost all of them are solving one narrow, unglamorous problem properly instead of chasing a platform play. Several are free or open source. More than one exists because the founder hit the problem themselves and could not find a tool that fixed it. That is the profile of software worth knowing about, and it rarely gets editorial coverage because there is no funding announcement attached.
So here it is. Ten tools, in the founders' own facts. We confirmed domain ownership for every one, checked each listing against the live site, and wrote every word below ourselves.
