Can I download QRhubly codes as SVG files?

Yes. QRhubly offers QR code downloads in SVG format, as well as PNG.

If you are preparing a QR code for production artwork, choose the SVG download option when you need that file format for your design workflow. Keep a copy of the final QR code file used in the artwork so the printed code matches the version you tested.

Choose the code type before you download

The download format is separate from whether a QR code is static or dynamic. A static QR code is free forever and does not expire, but its destination cannot be changed and its scans cannot be tracked after it is created.

A dynamic QR code points to a short link you control. That means you can change where the code goes after it has been printed and review scan analytics. QRhubly lists analytics for scans over time, country and city breakdowns, peak hours, and device, operating system, and browser details. Scan data can also be exported as a CSV.

Before sending artwork to print

• Confirm that the QR code points to the intended destination.
• Decide whether the destination may need to change after printing. If it might, use a dynamic code before creating the final artwork.
• Download the SVG file and place it in your artwork.
• Test the finished QR code from the final artwork before production.
• Check the planned print size against the viewing distance.
